Bhīṣma’s Appraisal of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Dharmic Rule (भीष्मोक्त-युधिष्ठिर-राजधर्म-प्रशंसा)
शुद्धात्मा गुणवान् पार्थ: सत्यवान् नीतिमान् शुचि: । तेजोराशिरसंख्येयो गृह्लीयादपि चक्षुषा,“दुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिर शुद्धचित्त, गुणवान्, सत्यवानू, नीतिमान्, पवित्र और तेजके पुंज हैं; अतः उन्हें पहचानना असम्भव है। आँखोंसे दीख जानेपर भी वे मनुष्यको मोह लेंगे-- पहचाने नहीं जा सकेंगे
śuddhātmā guṇavān pārthaḥ satyavān nītimān śuciḥ | tejorāśir asaṅkhyeyo gṛhlīyād api cakṣuṣā ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا— پرتھا کا بیٹا یُدھِشٹھِر پاکیزہ نفس، صاحبِ فضیلت، سچّا، اصول پسند اور بے داغ ہے۔ وہ نور و جلال کا بے اندازہ پیکر ہے؛ آنکھوں سے دیکھ لینے پر بھی لوگوں کو حیرت و فریب میں ڈال دے گا— اپنے حقیقی روپ میں پہچانا نہ جا سکے گا۔
