Rāma’s victory, Sītā’s vindication, and return to Ayodhyā as told by Mārkaṇḍeya
vimānaṁ puṣpakaṁ nāma kāmagaṁ ca dadau prabhuḥ | yakṣāṇām ādhipatyaṁ ca rājarājatvam eva ca ||
Authority and prosperity are portrayed as legitimate when conferred within cosmic order: divine sanction (Brahmā’s boon) establishes Kubera’s rightful sovereignty, suggesting that power should be grounded in dharmic authorization rather than mere force.
Mārkaṇḍeya narrates how Kubera received major boons: the wish-moving Puṣpaka aerial car, overlordship of the Yakṣas, and the exalted title ‘Rājarāja,’ marking his elevation as the preeminent royal figure among wealth-associated beings.
