Daśagrīva-boonāvaraṇa, Viṣṇv-avatāra-niyoga, Vānara-sahāya-janana, Mantharā-nirmāṇa
अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । ब्रीहिद्रोणपरित्यागाद् यत् फलं प्राप मुदूगल:,इस विषयमें जानकार लोग इस पुराने इतिहासका उदाहरण दिया करते हैं कि मुद्गल ऋषिने एक द्रोण धानका दान करके महान् फल प्राप्त किया था
atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | brīhidroṇaparityāgād yat phalaṃ prāpa mudūgalaḥ ||
