येतुतंसंश्रिता देवं नानावर्णास्तदा जना: | तानप्याहु: पारिषदान्‌ ब्राह्मणा: सुमहाबलान्‌,उस समय जिन-जिन नाना वर्णवाले जीवोंने उन स्कन्ददेवकी शरण ली, उन सबको ब्राह्मणोंने उनका महाबलवान्‌ पार्षद बताया है

Transliteration

ye tu taṁ saṁśritā devaṁ nānāvarṇās tadā janāḥ | tān apy āhuḥ pāriṣadān brāhmaṇāḥ sumahābalān ||

Translation

اس وقت جن جن گوناگوں رنگ و روپ والے لوگوں نے اس دیوتا کی پناہ لی، برہمنوں نے اُنہیں بھی اس کے نہایت زورآور پارشد (خدمت گار و ہمراہی) قرار دیا۔
