मार्कण्डेय उवाच
Dharma is grounded in humble, concrete duties—especially honoring and serving one’s parents—and true righteousness can be embodied even by someone of a socially humble profession, like the hunter.
Markandeya narrates that the hunter, after informing the Brahmin-teacher about his parents, resumes speaking to the Brahmin, continuing the moral instruction that frames the Dharma-vyādha episode.
