वैशम्पायन उवाच
As a chapter-ending colophon, the verse itself does not add new instruction; it highlights that the preceding material is a Kṛṣṇa–Vidura dialogue situated in the context of Kṛṣṇa’s peace mission. The ethical emphasis is that counsel and diplomacy grounded in dharma are central themes at this stage of the epic.
The narrator (Vaiśampāyana) marks the completion of the ninety-second chapter of Udyoga Parva, identifying it as part of the Bhagavad-yāna episode and specifying that its subject is the conversation between Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Vidura.
