आपने मुझसे जो कुछ कहा है, वही सत्य, समयोचित और युक्तिसंगत है। तथापि विदुरजी! यहाँ मेरे आनेका जो कारण है, उसे सावधान होकर सुनिये ।।
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca |
daurātmyaṃ dhārtarāṣṭrasya kṣatriyāṇāṃ ca vairatām |
sarvam etad ahaṃ jñānan kṣattaḥ prāpto 'dya kauravān ||
اے وِدُر! دھرتراشٹر کے بیٹے دُریودھن کی بدسرشتی اور کشتریوں کے درمیان اُبھری ہوئی دشمنی—یہ سب جانتے ہوئے ہی میں آج کوروؤں کے پاس آیا ہوں۔
