उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय ७७: पुरुषकार–दैवसंयोगः तथा दुष्टमन्त्रपरामर्शस्य राजनैतिक-परिणामः
Human Effort, Contingency, and the Political Effects of Corrupt Counsel
सम्पाद्यमानं सम्यक् च स्यात् कर्म सफल प्रभो । स तथा कृष्ण वर्तस्व यथा शर्म भवेत् परैः:
sampādyamānaṃ samyak ca syāt karma saphala prabho | sa tathā kṛṣṇa vartasva yathā śarma bhavet paraiḥ ||
اے प्रभو! جو کام ٹھیک طرح اور پوری توجہ سے انجام دیا جائے وہ ضرور پھل دے سکتا ہے۔ اے شری کرشن! آپ ایسا ہی جتن کیجیے کہ دشمنوں کے ساتھ ہمارا صلح و سمجھوتا ہو جائے اور دونوں طرف امن قائم ہو۔
