परुषाण्युच्यमानांश्व पुरा पार्थनुपेक्षसे । कृत्स्नं राज्यं जयन्तीति प्रपातं नानुपश्यसि

Transliteration

paruṣāṇy ucyamānāṃś ca purā pārthān upekṣase | kṛtsnaṃ rājyaṃ jayantīti prapātaṃ nānupaśyasi ||

Translation

سنجے نے کہا—پہلے بھی جب پرتھا کے بیٹوں کے خلاف بہت سی سخت باتیں کہی جا رہی تھیں، تو تم یہ سوچ کر کہ ‘میرے بیٹے ساری سلطنت جیت رہے ہیں’ انہیں نظرانداز کرتے رہے۔ تم نے یہ نہ دیکھا کہ یہی روش انہیں آئندہ ہلاکت اور زوال کی کھائی کی طرف لے جا رہی ہے۔
