Sañjaya’s Report
वव्रे चाहं वजहस्तान्महेन्द्रा- दस्मिन् युद्धे वासुदेव॑ं सहायम् । स मे लब्धो दस्युवधाय कृष्णो मन्ये चैतद् विहितं दैवतैमें,“उस समय मैंने वज्रपाणि इन्द्रको छोड़कर इस युद्धमें भगवान् श्रीकृष्णको अपना सहायक चुना था, इस प्रकार इन डाकुओंके वधके लिये मुझे श्रीकृष्ण मिल गये हैं। मालूम होता है, देवताओंने ही मेरे लिये ऐसी व्यवस्था कर रखी है
vavre cāhaṁ vajrahastān mahendrād asmin yuddhe vāsudevaṁ sahāyam | sa me labdho dasyuvadhāya kṛṣṇo manye caitad vihitaṁ daivataiḥ me ||
تب میں نے وجرہست مہندر کو بھی ایک طرف رکھ کر اس جنگ میں واسو دیو کرشن کو اپنا مددگار چُن لیا۔ ان لٹیروں جیسے لوگوں کے وध کے لیے کرشن مجھے حاصل ہوئے؛ مجھے گمان ہے کہ یہ بندوبست خود دیوتاؤں نے میرے لیے کیا تھا۔
