Karma, Varṇa-Dharma, and the Ethics of Governance
या नः स्नुषा: संजय वेत्थ तत्र प्राप्ता: कुलेभ्यश्व गुणोपपन्ना: । प्रजावत्यो ब्रूहि समेत्य ताश्न युधिष्ठिरो वो$भ्यवदत् प्रसन्न:
yā naḥ snuṣāḥ sañjaya vettha tatra prāptāḥ kulebhyaś ca guṇopapannāḥ | prajāvatyo brūhi sametya tāś ca yudhiṣṭhiro vo 'bhyavadat prasannaḥ ||
یُدھِشٹھِر نے کہا— “سنجے، وہاں ہماری جو بہوئیں ہیں—جو شریف خاندانوں سے آئی ہیں، عمدہ اوصاف رکھتی ہیں اور اولاد والی ہیں—تم انہیں بھی جانتے ہو۔ جا کر ان سے ملو اور کہنا: ‘بہوو! یُدھِشٹھِر خوش دل ہو کر تمہاری خیریت دریافت کرتے ہیں۔’”
