निकर्तने देवने योउद्धितीय- श्छन्नोपथ: साधुदेवी मताक्ष: । यो दुर्जयो देवरथेन संख्ये स चित्रसेन: कुशलं तात वाच्य:

Transliteration

nikartane devane yo ’dvitīyaś channopathaḥ sādhudevīmatākṣaḥ | yo durjayo devarathena saṅkhye sa citrasenaḥ kuśalaṃ tāta vācyaḥ ||

Translation

یُدھِشٹھِر نے کہا—عزیز! جو مال چھیننے اور جُوا کھیلنے کی فنکاری میں بے مثال ہے، اپنی چالیں چھپا کر ناپ تول کے ساتھ کھیلتا ہے، پانسے پھینکنے میں ماہر ہے، اور جو میدانِ جنگ میں دیوی رتھ پر سوار بہادر کے لیے بھی مشکل سے مغلوب ہونے والا ہے—اُس چِترسین کی بھی خیریت دریافت کر کے مجھے بتانا۔
