Śikhaṇḍinī’s Marriage Arrangement and the Daśārṇa Envoy’s Accusation (शिखण्डिनी-विवाह-विप्रलम्भ-प्रसङ्गः)

एतच्छुत्वा द्रुपदो यज्ञसेन: सर्व तत्त्वं मन्त्रविद्धयो निवेद्य । मन्त्र राजा मन्त्रयामास राजन्‌ यथायुक्तं रक्षणे वै प्रजानाम्‌,यह सुनकर यज्ञसेन द्रुपदने मन्त्रियोंको सब बातें ठीक-ठीक बता दीं। राजन! तत्पश्चात्‌ प्रजाकी रक्षाके लिये जैसी व्यवस्था उचित है, उसके लिये उन्होंने पुनः मन्त्रियोंके साथ गुप्त मन्त्रणा की

etac chrutvā drupado yajñasenaḥ sarva-tattvaṁ mantraviddhyo nivedya | mantra-rājā mantrayāmāsa rājan yathā-yuktaṁ rakṣaṇe vai prajānām ||

یہ سن کر یجّھسین دُرُپد نے اپنے تَتّوَجْن وزیروں کو سارا معاملہ ٹھیک ٹھیک بتا دیا۔ پھر، اے راجن، رعایا کی حفاظت کو پیشِ نظر رکھ کر اس نے دوبارہ اپنے مشیروں کے ساتھ خفیہ صلاح کی اور حفاظت کے لیے جو تدبیر مناسب تھی وہی مقرر کی۔
