ततो मामवहत् सूतो हयै: परमशोभि तै: । नृत्यद्धिरिव कौरव्य मारुतप्रतिमैर्गती,कुरुनन्दन! तब सारथिने अत्यन्त शोभाशाली अअश्रोंद्वारा, जो वायुके समान वेगसे चलनेके कारण नृत्य करते-से जान पड़ते थे, मुझे युद्धभूमिमें पहुँचाया
tato mām avahat sūto hayaiḥ paramaśobhibhiḥ taiḥ | nṛtyaddhir iva kauravya mārutapratimair gatiḥ ||
پھر، اے کوروَیہ، میرا سارَتھی مجھے اُن نہایت شاندار گھوڑوں کے ساتھ لے چلا جن کی ہوا جیسی تیز رفتار سے یوں لگتا تھا گویا وہ ناچ رہے ہوں۔
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights readiness for one’s appointed duty: even before the clash, disciplined preparation and capable support (the charioteer and swift horses) enable a warrior to meet the demands of dharma in a time of conflict.
Bhishma recounts being taken by his charioteer in a chariot drawn by exceptionally splendid, wind-swift horses, whose rapid motion makes them appear to dance, as he is conveyed toward the battlefield/scene of impending action.
