सेनाकर्मण्यभिज्ञो5स्मि व्यूहेषु विविधेषु च । कर्म कारयितुं चैव भृतानप्यभृतांस्तथा

senākarmāṇy abhijño 'smi vyūheṣu vividheṣu ca | karma kārayituṃ caiva bhṛtān apy abhṛtāṃs tathā ||

میں لشکر سے متعلق ہر کام میں ماہر ہوں اور طرح طرح کی جنگی صف بندیوں (ویوہوں) کی ترتیب میں بھی دسترس رکھتا ہوں۔ تنخواہ دار سپاہی ہوں یا بے تنخواہ حلیف و دوست—سب سے مناسب کام کروا لینا بھی مجھے آتا ہے۔
