Ulūka’s Message to the Pāṇḍavas
sa pūjitaḥ pāṇḍuputrair yathānyāyaṃ susaṃstutaḥ
The verse highlights dharmic conduct expressed through proper hospitality and respectful praise—honoring a worthy person in accordance with established norms (yathānyāyam) is itself an ethical duty.
In Vaiśampāyana’s narration, a male figure (contextually identified in surrounding verses) is received by the Pāṇḍavas; they honor him formally and commend him, indicating a courteous and righteous reception.
