फल्गु यच्च बल॑ किंचिद्‌ यच्चापि कृशदुर्बलम्‌ । तत्‌ संगृह ययौ राजा ये चापि परिचारका:

phalgu yac ca balaṁ kiñcid yac cāpi kṛśa-durbalam | tat saṅgṛhya yayau rājā ye cāpi paricārakāḥ ||

راجا نے جو کچھ بھی کمزور، دبلا پتلا اور ناتواں لشکر تھا، اور جو خدمت گار تھے—سب کو جمع کیا؛ پھر انہیں ساتھ لے کر اُپپلویہ کی طرف روانہ ہوا۔
