Kuntī–Karṇa Saṃvāda: Lineage Disclosure and Appeal to Fraternal Dharma
आपूृष्ठतापाज्ज प्त्वा स परिवृत्य यतव्रत: । दृष्टवा कुन्तीमुपातिषछ्ठदभिवाद्य कृताञ्जलि:,जबतक सूर्यदेव पीठकी ओर ताप न देने लगे (जबतक वे पूर्वसे पश्चिमकी ओर चले नहीं गये); तबतक जप करके नियमपूर्वक व्रतका पालन करनेवाला कर्ण जब पीछेकी ओर घूमा, तब कुन्तीको सामने पाकर उसने हाथ जोड़कर प्रणाम किया और उनके पास खड़ा हो गया

جب تک سورج کی تپش اس کی پیٹھ پر پڑنا بند نہ ہوئی، وہ جپ کرتا رہا؛ پھر عہد و ضبط پر قائم کرن نے پلٹ کر دیکھا۔ سامنے کُنتی کو پا کر اس نے ہاتھ جوڑ کر آداب کیا اور احترام سے اس کے قریب کھڑا ہو گیا۔
