सन्ति वै सिन्धुराजस्य संतुष्टा न तथा जना: | दौर्बल्यादासते मूढा व्यसनौघप्रतीक्षिण:,देख, सिन्धुराजकी प्रजा उससे संतुष्ट नहीं है, तथापि तेरी दुर्बलताके कारण किंकर्तव्यविमूढ़ हो उदासीन बैठी हुई है और सिन्धुराजपर विपत्तियोंके आनेकी बाट जोह रही है
santi vai sindhurājasya santuṣṭā na tathā janāḥ | daurbalyād āsate mūḍhā vyasanaugha-pratīkṣiṇaḥ ||
دیکھو، سندھ کے راجا کی رعایا اس سے حقیقتاً مطمئن نہیں؛ پھر بھی تمہاری کمزوری کے باعث وہ حیران و بےعمل بیٹھے ہیں اور سندھ راجا پر آفتوں کے سیلاب کے اترنے کی راہ دیکھ رہے ہیں۔
