Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
महाहमाल्याभरणां सुमृष्टाम्बरवाससम् | पुरा हृष्ट: सुहृद्र्गो मामपश्यत् सुहृदूगताम्,पूर्वकालमें मेरे सुह्दोंने जब मुझे सगे सम्बन्धियोंके बीच बहुमूल्य हार एवं आभूषणोंसे विभूषित तथा परम सुन्दर स्वच्छ वस्त्रोंस आच्छादित देखा, तब उन्हें बड़ा हर्ष हुआ
mahāhārābharaṇāṃ sumṛṣṭāmbaravāsasam | purā hṛṣṭaḥ suhṛdṛggo mām apaśyat suhṛdāgatām ||
پہلے جب میرے خیرخواہ دوستوں نے مجھے اپنے ہی رشتہ داروں کے درمیان قیمتی ہاروں، مالاؤں اور زیورات سے آراستہ، اور نہایت عمدہ و بےداغ لباس پہنے ہوئے آتے دیکھا، تو وہ بڑے شادمان ہو گئے۔
