तदिदं व्यसन घोर त्वया द्यूतमुखं कृतम् असमीक्ष्य सदाचारान् सार्थ पापानुबन्धनै:,“तूने ही सदाचारकी ओर लक्ष्य न रखकर पापासक्त पुरुषोंके सहित भयंकर विपत्तिके कारणभूत ये द्यूतक्रीड़ा आदि कार्य किये हैं
tad idaṃ vyasanaṃ ghoraṃ tvayā dyūtamukhaṃ kṛtam, asamīkṣya sadācārān sārthaṃ pāpānubandhanaiḥ
نیک چلنی کے معیار کو دیکھے بغیر، گناہ میں لتھڑے لوگوں کی صحبت میں، جوا سے شروع ہونے والی یہ ہولناک آفت تم ہی نے کھڑی کی ہے—اور یہ لازماً آگے مزید گناہ اور تباہی ہی کو باندھتی چلی جاتی ہے۔
