ययातिदौहित्रपुण्यसमुच्चयः | Yayāti and the Grandsons’ Consolidation of Merit

'ये आपको तार देंगे। दौहित्रोंके द्वारा मातामह (नाना)-का यह उद्धार पुरातन वेदशास्त्रमें स्पष्ट देखा गया है। राजन! मैं आपकी पुत्री माधवी हूँ और इस तपोवनमें मृगोंके समान जीवनचर्या बनाकर विचरती हूँ ।। मयाप्युपचितो धर्मस्ततो<र्थ प्रतिगृह्मताम्‌ । यस्माद्‌ राजन्‌ नरा: सर्वे अपत्यफलभागिन:

mayāpy upacito dharmas tato 'rthaṃ pratigṛhṇatām | yasmād rājan narāḥ sarve apatyaphalabhāginaḥ ||

میں نے بھی دھرم (نیکی) کا ذخیرہ کیا ہے؛ لہٰذا اس مقصد کے لیے اسے قبول کیجیے۔ کیونکہ، اے راجن، سب انسان اولاد سے حاصل ہونے والے پھل میں شریک ہوتے ہیں۔
