नारदकथितं माधव्याः तपश्चर्या–ययातेः स्वर्गविचारः | Nārada on Mādhavī’s Asceticism and the Scrutiny of Yayāti in Heaven
अश्चानां काड्क्षितार्थानां पडिमानि शतानि वै | शतद्वयेन कन्येयं भवता प्रतिगृह्मताम्,आकर उन्होंने कहा--“गुरुदेव! आप जैसे चाहते थे, वैसे ही ये छः सौ घोड़े आपकी सेवामें प्रस्तुत हैं और शेष दो सौके बदले आप इस कन्याको ग्रहण करें
aśvānāṃ kāṅkṣitārthānāṃ ṣaḍimāni śatāni vai | śatadvayena kanyeyaṃ bhavatā pratigṛhyatām |
انہوں نے عرض کیا: “گुरुदیو! جیسا آپ نے چاہا تھا ویسے ہی یہ چھ سو گھوڑے آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہیں؛ اور باقی دو سو کے بدلے یہ کنیا قبول فرمائیے۔”
