इन्द्र: सतां सम्मतश्न निवासश्न महात्मनाम्‌ । सत्यवादी हानिन्द्यश्न धर्मवित्‌ सूक्ष्मनिश्चय:

indraḥ satāṁ sammataś ca nivāsaś ca mahātmanām | satyavādī anindyaś ca dharmavit sūkṣma-niścayaḥ ||

اندرا نیک لوگوں کے نزدیک مقبول و محترم ہے اور عظیم النفسوں کے لیے پناہ گاہ ہے۔ وہ سچ بولنے والا، ملامت سے پاک، دھرم کا جاننے والا اور نہایت باریک بین فیصلے کی صلاحیت رکھنے والا ہے۔
