अष्टादशपुराणानां श्रवणाद् यत् फलं भवेत् | तत् फलं समवाप्रोति वैष्णवो नात्र संशय:
aṣṭādaśa-purāṇānāṃ śravaṇād yat phalaṃ bhavet | tat phalaṃ samavāpnoti vaiṣṇavo nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
اٹھارہ پُرانوں کی سماعت سے جو ثواب حاصل ہوتا ہے، وہی ثواب وِشنو کے بھکت کو صرف مہابھارت سننے سے پورا مل جاتا ہے—اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔
