वीरलोकगति): प्राप्ता युद्धे हुत्वा55त्मनस्तनुम् । यूयं सर्वे सुरसमा येन युद्धे समासिता:
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca — vīralokagatiṃ prāptā yuddhe hutvā ātmanas tanum | yūyaṃ sarve surasamā yena yuddhe samāsitāḥ |
ویشَمپاین نے کہا—انہوں نے جنگ میں اپنے جسم کو آہوتی بنا کر ویروں کی گتی پائی ہے؛ کیونکہ وہ دیوتاؤں جیسے درخشاں تم سب بھائیوں کے مقابل رَن میں ڈٹ کر کھڑے رہے۔ یوں کشتریہ دھرم کے مطابق میدانِ جنگ میں جان دے کر انہوں نے وہ مرتبہ حاصل کیا۔
