Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda

यस्य वेदिरुपस्तीर्णा तस्य लोका यथा मम । जिसके युद्ध-यज्ञकी वेदी नीले चमड़ेकी बनी हुई म्यानके भीतर रखी जानेवाली तलवारों तथा परिघके समान मोटी-मोटी भुजाओंसे बिछ जाती है, उसे वैसे ही लोक प्राप्त होते हैं, जैसे मुझे मिले हैं

yasya vedir upastīrṇā tasya lokā yathā mama |

جس کے جنگی یَجْن کی ویدی نیلے چمڑے کی نیام میں رکھی ہوئی تلواروں اور پرِغ کی مانند موٹی مضبوط بازوؤں سے بچھائی جاتی ہے، اسے بھی میرے جیسے عوالم حاصل ہوتے ہیں۔
