भीष्म उवाच राजवृत्तं महाराज शृणुष्वावहितो5खिलम्‌ । यत्‌ कार्य पार्थिवेनादौ पार्थिवप्रकृतेन वा

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca rājavṛttaṃ mahārāja śṛṇuṣvāvahito 'khilam | yat kāryaṃ pārthivenādau pārthivaprakṛtena vā ||

Translation

بھیشم نے کہا—اے مہاراج! شاہی طرزِ عمل (راج دھرم) کا پورا ضابطہ توجہ سے سنو۔ جو کام بادشاہ کو ابتدا میں کرنا چاہیے—اور اسی طرح وہ شخص جو فطرت اور فرض کے اعتبار سے شاہی خدمت اور امورِ سلطنت کے لیے موزوں ہو، اسے جو کرنا چاہیے—میں وہ بیان کرتا ہوں۔
