राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः
Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures
हस्ताद्धस्तं परिमुषेद् भिद्येरन् सर्वसेतव: । भयार्त॑ विद्रवेत् सर्व यदि राजा न पालयेत्,यदि राजा पालन न करे तो चोर और लुटेरे हाथमें रखी हुई वस्तुको भी हाथसे छीन ले जायूँ, सारी मर्यादाएँ टूट जायँ और सब लोग भयसे पीड़ित हो चारों ओर भागते फिरें
hastād hastaṁ parimuṣed bhidyeran sarva-setavaḥ | bhayārtā vidravet sarve yadi rājā na pālayet ||
اگر بادشاہ حفاظت نہ کرے تو لٹیرے ہاتھ میں پکڑی ہوئی چیز بھی ہاتھ سے چھین لیں گے؛ سب حدیں اور ضابطے ٹوٹ جائیں گے؛ اور خوف زدہ لوگ ہر سمت بھاگتے پھریں گے۔
