यैर्यरुपायैलोंकस्तु न चलेदार्यवर्त्मन: । तत्‌ सर्व राजशार्दूल नीतिशास्त्रेडभिवर्णितम्‌,राजसिंह! जिन-जिन उपायोंद्वारा यह जगत्‌ सन्मार्गसे विचलित न हो, उन सबका इस नीतिशास्त्रमें प्रतिपादन किया गया है

yair yair upāyair lokas tu na caled āryavartmanaḥ | tat sarvaṁ rājasārdūla nītiśāstre ’bhivarṇitam ||

اے راج شیر! جن جن تدبیروں سے یہ دنیا آریہ راہ سے نہ بھٹکے، ان سب کا بیان اس نیتی شاستر میں کیا گیا ہے۔
