अलंकारे च भोज्ये च तथा स्नानानुलेपने । हेलनानि नरव्याप्र स्वस्थास्तस्योपशृण्वत:,पुरुषसिंह! राजा पास ही खड़ा-खड़ा सुनता रहता है निर्भय होकर उसके आभूषण पहनने, खाने, नहाने और चन्दन लगाने आदिका मजाक उड़ाया करते हैं
alaṃkāre ca bhojye ca tathā snānānulepane | helanāni naravyāghra svasthās tasyopaśṛṇvataḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—اے مردوں کے شیر! بادشاہ قریب کھڑا ہو کر سنتا رہتا ہے؛ جو لوگ اپنے آپ کو محفوظ سمجھتے ہیں وہ اس کے زیور پہننے، کھانے، نہانے اور چندن وغیرہ ملنے کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں۔ پھر بھی وہ بادشاہ بےخوف کھڑا کھڑا سب کچھ سنتا رہتا ہے۔
