Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons

ततस्ते धर्मनिरता: सम्यक्‌ तैरभिपूजिता: । श्वः समेष्याम इत्युक्त्वा यथेष्टं त्वरिता ययु:,उनके द्वारा भलीभाँति पूजित हुए वे धर्मपरायण महर्षि, 'हमलोग फिर कल सबेरे यहाँ आयाँगे” ऐसा कहकर तुरंत ही अपने-अपने अभीष्ट स्थानको चले गये

tataste dharmaniratāḥ samyak tair abhipūjitāḥ | śvaḥ sameṣyāma ity uktvā yatheṣṭaṃ tvaritā yayuḥ ||

پھر وہ دھرم میں رَت مہارشی، جن کی اُنہوں نے بخوبی پوجا کی تھی، یہ کہہ کر کہ “ہم کل صبح پھر یہاں آئیں گے”، بلا تاخیر اپنے اپنے پسندیدہ ٹھکانوں کو روانہ ہو گئے۔
