Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons

ज्ञानानि च समग्राणि प्रतिभास्यन्ति तेडनघ । नच ते क्वचिदासक्त्तिुद्धेः प्रादुर्भविष्पति,अनघ! आपके अन्तःकरणमें सम्पूर्ण ज्ञान प्रकाशित हो उठेंगे। आपकी बुद्धि किसी भी विषयमें कुण्ठित नहीं होगी

jñānāni ca samagrāṇi pratibhāsyanti te 'n-agha | na ca te kvacid āsaktir buddheḥ prādurbhaviṣyati, an-agha ||

اے بےگناہ! تمہارے باطن میں کامل و جامع معرفت روشن ہو جائے گی۔ تمہاری عقل کسی بھی شے میں کہیں بھی دلبستگی اور چمٹاؤ میں مبتلا نہ ہوگی۔
