Kṛṣṇa’s Dhyāna and the Prompt to Question Bhīṣma (कृष्णध्यानं भीष्मप्रश्नप्रेरणा च)

आवूृते भगवत्यर्के स हि लोकान्‌ गमिष्यति । त्वद्‌दर्शन॑ महाबाहो तस्मादर्हति कौरव:,“महाबाहो! सूर्यके उत्तरायण होते ही कुरुकुलभूषण भीष्म देवलोकको चले जायूँगे; अतः उन्हें आपका दर्शन अवश्य प्राप्त होना चाहिये

āvṛte bhagavaty arke sa hi lokān gamiṣyati | tvad-darśanaṁ mahābāho tasmād arhati kauravaḥ ||

واسودیو نے کہا—“اے مہاباہو! جب قابلِ تعظیم سورج اُترایَن کے مبارک راستے پر مُڑے گا تو وہ (بھیشم) یقیناً اعلیٰ لوکوں کو روانہ ہو جائیں گے۔ اس لیے وہ کورو (بھیشم) تمہارے دیدار کا مستحق ہے؛ روانگی سے پہلے اسے تمہارا ساکشات دیدار ضرور ملنا چاہیے۔”
