Educational Q&A

This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it signals the completion of a chapter focused on Dvaipāyana (Vyāsa) and situates it within the Śānti Parva’s broader dharma-discourse, emphasizing continuity of sacred knowledge through authoritative sages.

Vaiśampāyana marks the end of the chapter in the Gokṣadharma section of Śānti Parva, stating that the chapter concerning the origin of Dvaipāyana (Vyāsa) has concluded.
