This is a colophon marking the close of a chapter whose stated theme is aikāntika-bhāva—exclusive, unwavering devotion to Nārāyaṇa—presented within the Mokṣa-dharma teachings that orient the listener toward liberation through right understanding and steadfast spiritual commitment.
Vaiśampāyana signals the formal conclusion of the chapter in the Śānti Parva’s Mokṣa-dharma section, specifically the Nārāyaṇīya portion, indicating that the discourse praising Nārāyaṇa and emphasizing single-minded devotion has ended.
