Prāyaścitta and Contextual Non-Culpability (प्रायश्चित्त-निमित्त-अदोषवाद)

कुर्याच्छुभानि कर्माणि निवर्तेत्‌ पापकर्मण: । दद्यान्नित्यं च वित्तानि तथा मुच्येत किल्बिषात्‌,मनुष्यको चाहिये कि वह शुभ कर्मोंका ही अनुष्ठान करे, पापकर्मसे सर्वथा दूर रहे तथा प्रतिदिन (निष्कामभावसे) धनका दान करे; ऐसा करनेसे वह पापोंसे मुक्त हो जाता है

kuryāc chubhāni karmāṇi nivarteta pāpakarmaṇaḥ | dadyān nityaṃ ca vittāni tathā mucyeta kilbiṣāt ||

انسان کو چاہیے کہ نیک و مبارک اعمال بجا لائے، گناہ کے کاموں سے بالکل باز رہے، اور ہر روز بے غرض نیت سے مال کا دان کرے؛ اس طرح وہ گناہ کی آلودگی سے آزاد ہو جاتا ہے۔
