धर्मद्वारबहुत्वविमर्शः — Reflection on the Many ‘Doors’ of Dharma (Śānti-parva 342)

योअसौ योनिर्हि सर्वस्य स्थावरस्य चरस्य च । जिनके प्रसादसे ब्रह्मा और क्रोधसे रुद्र प्रकट हुए हैं, वे श्रीहरि ही सम्पूर्ण चराचर जगतकी उत्पत्तिके कारण हैं

yo 'sau yonir hi sarvasya sthāvarasya carasya ca | yasya prasādād brahmā ca krodhād rudraḥ prajāyate, sa śrīhariḥ sarva-carācara-jagata utpatti-kāraṇam ||

وہی ہستی تمام ثابت و متحرک موجودات کی حقیقی یَونی اور سرچشمہ ہے؛ جس کے فضل سے برہما ظاہر ہوا اور جس کے غضب سے رُدر پیدا ہوا—وہی شری ہری پورے چر اَچر کائنات کی پیدائش کا سبب ہے۔
