अश्विभ्यां पतये चैव मरुतां पतये तथा । वेदयज्ञाधिपतये वेदाड़पतयेडपि च,वे अश्विनीकुमारोंक पति, मरुदगणोंके पालक, वेद और यज्ञोंके अधिपति तथा वेदांगोंके भी स्वामी हैं। उन्हें प्रणाम करो

aśvibhyāṃ pataye caiva marutāṃ pataye tathā | vedayajñādhipataye vedāṅgapataye 'pi ca ||

جو اشوِنی کماروں کا مالک، مرُوتوں کا سردار، ویدوں اور یَجْنوں کا حاکمِ اعلیٰ اور ویدانگوں کا بھی آقا ہے—اُسی کو سجدۂ تعظیم کرو۔
