धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)

पूजयित्वा च देवेशं पुनरायात्‌ स्वमाश्रमम्‌ | व्यासजी सदा ही आकाशमार्गसे अमृतनिधि क्षीर-सागरके तटपर जाकर देवेश्वर श्रीहरिकी पूजा करनेके पश्चात्‌ पुनः: अपने आश्रमपर लौट आते हैं

vaiśampāyana uvāca | pūjayitvā ca deveśaṃ punar āyāt svam āśramam |

دیویشور کی باقاعدہ پوجا کر کے وہ پھر اپنے آشرم کو لوٹ آیا۔ اس بیان میں یہ نمونہ نمایاں ہے کہ عقیدت و احترام سے عبادت کے بعد انسان اپنے مقررہ فرائض اور آشرم-دھرم کی پابندی کی طرف نظم کے ساتھ واپس آئے۔
