अध्याय ३२३ — श्वेतद्वीपगमनम्, यज्ञभाग-विवादः, एकान्तिभक्त्या नारायणदर्शन-नियमः (Śvetadvīpa Journey; Dispute over Sacrificial Share; Rule of Nārāyaṇa-vision through Single-minded Devotion)

न चास्य हीयते प्राणो न ग्लानिरुपजायते । त्रयाणामपि लोकानां तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्‌,ऐसा कठोर तप करनेपर भी न तो उनके प्राण नष्ट हुए और न उन्हें थकान ही हुई। यह तीनों लोकोंके लिये अद्भुत-सी बात हुई

na cāsya hīyate prāṇo na glānir upajāyate | trayāṇām api lokānāṃ tad adbhutam ivābhavat ||

بھیشم نے کہا—اتنی سخت تپسیا کے باوجود نہ اس کی سانسِ حیات میں کمی آئی، نہ اس پر تھکن طاری ہوئی۔ تینوں لوکوں کے لیے یہ بات گویا معجزہ سی تھی۔
