Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)

भीष्य उवाच इत्येतैरसुखैर्वाक्यैरयुक्तैरसमञ्जसै: । प्रत्यादिष्टा नरेन्द्रेण सुलभा न व्यकम्पत,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--युधिष्ठिर! राजा जनकने इन दुःखजनक, अयोग्य और असंगत वचनोंद्वारा उसका बड़ा तिरस्कार किया, तो भी सुलभा अपने मनमें तनिक भी विचलित नहीं हुई

bhīṣma uvāca | ityetair asukhair vākyair ayuktair asamañjasaiḥ | pratyādiṣṭā narendreṇa sulabhā na vyakampata ||

بھیشم نے کہا—اے یدھشٹھِر! نریندر جنک نے سُلبھا کو ایسے رنج انگیز، ناموزوں اور بے ربط کلمات سے جھڑکا، پھر بھی سُلبھا ذرا بھر بھی متزلزل نہ ہوئی۔
