Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga
- धारणाद्वारा पंचभूतोंपर विजय या अधिकार प्राप्त करके योगी जन्म, जरा, मृत्यु आदिको जीत लेता है; इस विषयमें यह सूत्र भी प्रमाण है-- पृथ्व्यप्तेजोडनिलखे समुत्थिते पंचात्मके योगगुणे प्रवृत्ते । न तस्य रोगो न जरा न मृत्यु: प्राप्तस्य योगाग्निमयं शरीरम् ।।
yājñavalkya uvāca | avyaktasthaṁ paraṁ yat tat pṛṣṭas te 'haṁ narādhipa | paraṁ guhyam imaṁ praśnaṁ śṛṇuṣvāvahito nṛpa ||
یاج्ञولکْی نے کہا—اے نرادھپ! تم نے مجھ سے اُس برتر حقیقت کے بارے میں پوچھا ہے جو اَویَکت میں قائم ہے۔ یہ نہایت رازدارانہ سوال ہے؛ اے راجا، پوری توجہ سے سنو۔
