Janaka–Sulabhā Dialogue on Mokṣa and Non-attachment
इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि वसिष्ठकरालजनकसंवादसमाप्तौ अष्टाधिकत्रिशततमो< ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi vasiṣṭha-karāla-janaka-saṃvāda-samāptau aṣṭādhika-triśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
یہی شری مہابھارت کے شانتِی پَرو کے تحت موکش دھرم پَرو میں وسِشٹھ-کرال-جنک کے مکالمے کی تکمیل سے متعلق تین سو آٹھواں ادھیائے مکمل ہوا۔
भीष्म उवाच
This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it signals the completion of a Mokṣa-dharma dialogue associated with Vasiṣṭha, Karāla, and King Janaka, framing the preceding material as instruction oriented toward liberation and inner detachment.
Bhīṣma’s discourse (as the overarching speaker in Śānti Parva) reaches the formal end-marker for Adhyāya 308: the text announces that the Vasiṣṭha–Karāla–Janaka dialogue has concluded and that the 308th chapter is complete.
