सर्वेडप्यभिमुखा: शूरा विजिता रणशोभिन: । नैषां कश्चित्‌ पृष्ठतो वा पलायन वापि पातित:

sarve 'py abhimukhāḥ śūrā vijitā raṇaśobhināḥ | naiṣāṃ kaścit pṛṣṭhato vā palāyana vāpi pātitaḥ ||

وہ سب رزم کی شان بڑھانے والے بہادر تھے؛ دشمن کے روبرو ہی مغلوب ہوئے۔ اُن میں سے کوئی نہ پیٹھ پر زخم کھا کر گرا، نہ بھاگتے ہوئے مارا گیا۔
