धनुरादाय बाणेन तदान्वसरत प्रभु: । यज्ञको मृगका रूप धारण करके भागते देख भगवान्‌ शिवने धनुष हाथमें लेकर अपने बाणके द्वारा उसका पीछा किया

dhanur ādāya bāṇena tadānv asarat prabhuḥ |

تب پروردگار نے کمان اٹھائی اور تیر کے ساتھ اس کا پیچھا کیا۔ یَجْن کی وہ ہستی ہرن کی صورت اختیار کرکے بھاگ رہی تھی—یہ دیکھ کر کمان بدست بھگوان شِو اپنے شَر کے ساتھ اس کے تعاقب میں دوڑ پڑے۔
