Viṣṇor Māhātmya and Indriya-saṃyama (विष्णोर्माहात्म्यं तथा इन्द्रियसंयमः)
पश्य हूप्सरसो दिव्य मया दत्तेन चक्षुषा । विमानानि विचित्राणि गन्धर्वाणां महात्मनाम्,“मैंने तुम्हें दिव्यदृष्टि प्रदान की है; उससे देखो, आकाशमें वे दिव्य अप्सराएँ खड़ी हैं। महात्मा गन्धर्वोके विचित्र विमान भी शोभा पा रहे हैं!
paśya hy apsaraso divyā mayā dattena cakṣuṣā | vimānāni vicitrāṇi gandharvāṇāṁ mahātmanām ||
“میں نے تمہیں دِویہ دِرشٹی عطا کی ہے؛ اسی نگاہ سے ان دِویہ اپسراؤں کو دیکھو۔ اور مہاتما گندھرووں کے عجیب و غریب وِمان بھی آسمان میں جگمگا رہے ہیں—انہیں بھی دیکھو۔”
