अथान्तरिक्षे वागासीत्‌ तां च शुश्राव जाजलि: । धर्मेण न समस्त्वं वै तुलाधारस्य जाजले

Transliteration

athāntarikṣe vāg āsīt tāṃ ca śuśrāva jājaliḥ | dharmeṇa na samas tvaṃ vai tulādhārasya jājale ||

Translation

اسی وقت آسمان سے ایک آواز بلند ہوئی، اور جاجلی نے اسے سنا: “اے جاجلے! دھرم میں تو تُلادھار کے برابر نہیں۔ کاشی میں ایک نہایت دانا ویشیہ تُلادھار رہتا ہے؛ اے برہمنِ برتر! جیسی بات تو کہہ رہا ہے، ویسی بات تُلادھار بھی نہیں کہہ سکتا۔”
