मृत्युकारणप्रश्नः / Inquiry into the Cause and Designation of Death
इत्येवं हृदयग्रन्थिं बुद्धिचिन्तामयं दूढम् । अनित्यं सुखमासीत अशोचंश्छिन्नसंशय:
ity evaṁ hṛdaya-granthiṁ buddhi-cintā-mayaṁ dūḍham | anityaṁ sukham āsīta aśocañ chinna-saṁśayaḥ ||
ویاس نے کہا—یوں دل کی گرہ کو، جو ذہن و عقل کی عادت بن چکی فکر سے سخت بندھی ہوئی ہے—اس ناپائیدار اور جہالت سے بنی گرہ کو—کاٹ کر سالک غم سے پاک اور شک سے بری ہو جائے، اور ایسے سکھ میں قائم رہے جو فانی چیزوں پر موقوف نہیں؛ یعنی آتما کے سوروپ میں ثابت قدم ہو جائے۔
