Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
यथा विश्वानि भूतानि वृष्ट्या भूयांसि प्रावृषि । सृज्यन्ते जड़मस्थानि तथा धर्मा युगे युगे
yathā viśvāni bhūtāni vṛṣṭyā bhūyāṃsi prāvṛṣi | sṛjyante jaḍam-asthāni tathā dharmā yuge yuge ||
ویاس نے کہا—جس طرح برسات کے موسم میں بارش کے پانی سے متحرک و غیر متحرک سبھی جاندار اور اشیا بڑھتی اور پھیلتی ہیں، اور جب برسات گزر جاتی ہے تو گھٹنے لگتی ہیں؛ اسی طرح ہر یُگ میں دھرم کا عروج و زوال ہوتا رہتا ہے، اور اس کے ساتھ ادھرم بھی باری باری بڑھتا اور گھٹتا ہے۔
